Raw Mango Pachadi Recipe | How to make Raw Mango Pachadi | (Mamidikaya mukkala Pachadi Andhra style)

Hi friends, thanks to all of you for visiting my website and @EATeasyvegrecipes youtube channel. Today's recipe is raw mango pachadi. Serve raw mango pachadi with hot piping rice. Summer is the season for raw green mangoes. We use them for pickling. Tender mangoes or raw mangoes have a different smell and taste. I like raw mango recipes very much, mamidikaya mukkala pachadi recipe is one among them. We call it mukkala pachadi also. Small pieces of raw mango combined with red chillis tastes awesome for rice. There are different ways of making mukkala pachadi. Some make it instant pachadi or roti pachadi which cannot be stored for long. Some prepare it to store for long period like a week or more. I am sharing mango roti pachadi of Andhra style. It cannot be stored for long, we have consume it within a day or two. Mango mukkala pachadi tastes well with hot piping rice.

Summer is the season for raw green mangoes. We use them for pickling. Tender mangoes or raw mangoes have a different smell and taste.

Ingredients:
  • 1 medium size Raw Mango
  • 7 to 10 Red Chillis
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1 tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Urad Dal
  • 1/4 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
Procedure:
  1. Peel the skin of raw mango.
  2. Chop it into small pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai, add urad dal.
  4. Add fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds.
  5. When the mustard seeds starts spluttering add red chillis.
  6. Add asafoetida and switch off the flame.
  7. Red chillis should not turn dark.
  8. The pachadi tastes bitter, if the chillis turn dark.
  9. Allow this tadka to cool.
  10. In ablender jar add half portion of the tadka along with red chillis.
  11. Add salt and turmeric powder.
  12. Blend it to make coarse powder.
  13. Add this red chillis powder to the above raw mango pieces.
  14. Add remaining tadka also to the raw mango pices.
  15. Serve raw mango pachadi with hot piping rice a spoonfull of ghee.
