There are different varieties of pastas available in the market, like penne(cylindrical), macaroni, farfalle (bow tie type), spaghetti, fusilli (spirally) and many more. I generally use only penne and fusilli pasta. With penne I make white sauce pasta and fusilli red sauce pasta. To make red sauce pasta I prepare sauce by myself. But this time I thought of trying store bought sauce, even it also came out well.

Red sauce pasta or red pasta a kids favourite meal made with tomatoes, onion, garlic and herbs.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups Fusilli Pasta(Spiral Pasta)
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Red Sauce pasta(store bought)
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Garlic
- 1 Cup Onion
- 1/2 cup Sweet Corn
- Salt to Taste
- 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Mixed herbs
- 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp grated cheese
Procedure:
- Finely chop onions and garlic.
- In a wide pan, boil water with added salt and oil.
- We can pressure cook the pasta for 2 to 3 whistles.
- I make in the second way like pressure cook pasta for 2 to 3 whistles.
- Once the pressure goes off, transfer the cooked pasta into a colander.
- Wash the boiled pasta with chilled water to make it non sticky.
- Heat oil and ghee in a thick bottom pan.
- Add chopped garlic. Saute them well till they change their color.
- Add finely chopped onion and again saute them well.
- Add sweet corn and mix it again.
- Add salt, red chilli powder, mixed herbs and black pepper powder.
- Mix it well and add boiled spiral pasta.
- Combine well and allow this to cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Transfer the red sauce pasta into serving plates and sprinkle spoonful of grated cheese .
- Serve red pasta immediately.
