Meal Maker Curry Recipe | How to make Meal Maker Curry | (Soya Chunks Curry Recipe)

Hi friends, Today's recipe is Meal maker curry. Meal maker or soya chunks is best to vegetarians. Meal maker or soya chunks is the meat substitute for vegetarians. Soya chunks are good source of protiens and carbohydrates. Meal maker promotes heart health and helps in weight loss also. And also soya chunks regulates harmonal imbalances in women. We can also make different varities with soya chunks. In this post I am giving a simple and easy meal maker curry recipe. This version of soya chunks masala curry recipe can be served with roti, chapati or jowar roti. I served best meal maker curry recipe with jowar roti.

Meal Maker Curry

Soya Chunks curry -- protien rich meat substitute for vegetarians.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Meal Maker/Soya Chunks
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 Green Chillis
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 3 to 5 Cloves
  • 3" Long Cinnamon Stick

  • Procedure:
    1. Boil 1 Cup of water with salt.
    2. Add soya chunks/meal maker into it.
    3. Boil them till they get cooked and softens.
    4. Drain meal maker once they are cooked.
    5. Chop onion and tomatoes. Slit green chillis.
    6. Heat oil in a kadai, add cloves and cinnamon stick.
    7. When they start popping up add chopped onions.
    8. Saute them till they turn translucent.
    9. Add chopped tomatoes and fry them till they become mushy.
    10. Add ginger garlic paste and again fry for a minute.
    11. Add turmeric powder, salt and combine them well.
    12. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala.
    13. Combine them well and add little water.
    14. Allow the curry to cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
    15. Add boiled meal maker and mix it well.
    16. Again cook the curry for 5 minutes or till the moisture in the curry evaporates.
    17. Serve meal maker curry recipe with roti, chapati or jowar roti.
