Ingredients:
- 3 Cups Palak/Spinach - 2 cups
- 200 Grms Paneer
- 1 Large Onion
- 2 Tbsp Ginger Garlci Paste
- 3 to 5 Cloves
- 2" Long Cinnamon Stick
- Salt to Taste
- 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 Tbsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 Tbsp Red Chilli powder
- 1/2 Tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 Tbsp Oil/Ghee
Procedure:
- Wash palak and blanch it in boiling water.
- Cut onion into small pieces.
- Drain excess water and wash under running water to cool.
- Add it to a blender jar and make a fine paste of it.
- Cut paneer also into cubes.
- Heat oil/ghee in a thick bottoem kadai, add cloves and cinnamon sticks.
- Once they start spluttering add chopped onions.
- Add salt and Saute them till they turn translucent.
- Add turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder and coriander powder.
- Mix it well and allow this to cook for a while.
- Add palak paste to it and mix it well.
- Allow this to boil for a while.
- Add paneer cubes and mix again well.
- Add water and allow this boil.
- Let it cook till the gravy thickens.
- Serve palak paneer with roti, chapati or jeera rice.
