I have picked this recipe from my MIL, she used to prepare simple and easy bottle gourd sagu every now and then to avoid onions. But when I started cooking I tried it in different ways with potatoes and mix of all vegetables like carrots, beans and peas. I came to know that it is from Karnataka cuisine only after I writing this blog. Before that I used to think that it is my MIL's inventions. :)

- Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
- Add onions and sate them till they are translucent.
- Add salt and turmeric powder.
- Add cooked vegetables, mix them well.
- Add the above grinded masala into the vegetables.
- Mix them well and allow mixed vegetable sagu to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- If you feel the curry is too thick add a cup of water and allow it to cook.
