Wheat Flour Dosa Recipe -- how to make godhuma dosa

Wheat Flour Dosa
Today I am posting on how to make wheat flour dosa recipe. A really very simple and easy recipe can be made anytime. I like dosas of this type very much. They don't need any prior preparation and tastes good also. We need only three main ingredients to make these dosa. Wheat flour, rice flour and curd. Remaining all other ingredients are optional, if we want to skip them we can happily.

Wheat Flour Dosa

Wheat flour dosa -- instant breakfast recipe

Ingredients:
  • 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 Cup Rice Flour
  • 2 Cups Curd
  • Salt to Taste
  • 4 Green Chillies (Finely chopped)
  • 4" long Ginger (Finely Chopped)
  • 2 Cups water
  • 2 Onions Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumins Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Red chilli powder
Procedure:
  1. In a large mixing bowl add wheat flour, rice flour, salt and chilli powder. Combine them well.
  2. Add curd and again mix it well.
  3. Keep it aside and allow this to rest for 15 to 20 mins
  4. Add finely chopped green chillies, finely chopped ginger, finely chopped onions and cumin seeds.
  5. Mix them well and add water to make the batter thin.
  6. The batter consistency should be like that of rawa dosa batter, pouring.
  7. Heat tawa, sprinkel some water to the check the heat.
  8. Use a tumbler to pour the batter on the tawa. Do not us ladle to spread the batter.
  9. Pour a glass full of dosa batter on the hot tawa, in a circular form from outside first then inside.
  10. Allow this to cook for a while, let the moisture on top of the dosa goes off.
  11. Add a spoonful of oil and cook completely.
  12. Once the dosa cooked well, the edges automatically leave the tawa.
  13. At this stage flip it and cook for 2 minutes. Take off from the tawa and serve.
  14. Serve crispy godhuma dosa with nice spicy chutneys like ginger chutney, onion chutney and coconut chutney.
