While sending the bride to the groom's house after the marriage event finishes we need to serve them with some sweets and snacks. This one will essentially be there in the list for Telugu people.
Coming to the recipe it is a very simple and easy recipe. Store it in an airtight container for one week to fifteen days.

Ingredients:

Besan/Gram Flour - 1 cup
Water - as per requirement
Ground Nuts/Peanuts - 1 1/2 cup
Roasted Chana Dal  - 1 1/2 cup
Curry Leaves - 15 to 20
Garlic - 15 to 20 (optional)
Oil - for frying boondi
Salt - to taste
Red Chilli Powder - to taste
Garam Masala - to taste (optional)
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp (optional)

Boondi Preparation:

Heat oil in a kadai.
Mix besan with some water.
Mix well so that the batter is lump free.
Add little water and make loose batter like that of dosa batter.
Check this batter with the spoon, with the help of spoon's tail end drop little bit of batter in hot oil.
If the boondi falls without any tails it is, the batter's consistency is perfect. Otherwise add some more water and check again in the same anner.
If the batter is too loose then add some more besan to it.
Take boondi ladle, hold it on top of hot oil, with the help of another ladle pour batter over it. And let the boondi fall in the oil.   Fry them till it turns into brown in colour.
Once they turn into brown shade remove them from oil and put on a tissue paper.  Keep them a side.
Do the same with the rest of the batter.

Procedure:

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadai. Fry peanuts in the oil till they turn into brown shade.
Fry roasted chana dal also.
Fry curry leaves and garlic also.
If adding garlic do not remove its skin. Just cut the heads and tails of each pod.
If do not want to add garlic just skip this step.
In a large wide plate mix all the above fried boondi, roasted peanuts, roasted chana dal, curry leaves, garlic, salt and red chilli powder. If we want to add garam masala and coriander powder we can add them also.
Mix them all in such a way all the masalas and salt should mix well. Taste it once, if salt is less add some more. But be careful while adding salt as this won't take much salt.
Store boondi mixture in an air tight container.
