Baby Potato Fry Recipe | How to make Baby Potato Fry |(Side dish for Rice) | Kids favourite


Hi friends, thank you all for visiting my website and @EATeasyvegrecipes youtube channel. Today's recipe is baby potato fry. This is the right season we get these small baby potatoes. During my childhood days, we used to call them as eggs and felt elated whenever my mom fry them. It is another no onion and no garlic recipe. A very simple and easy recipe to be accompanied with hot piping rice. These baby potatoes are used to make Dum Aloo also. Baby potato fry is as the name goes babies favorite dish. They would enjoy them very well.

Baby Potato Fry -- South Indian delicacy served with hot piping rice.

Ingredients:
  • 200 Grams Baby Potatoes
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 Garam Masala Powder
Procedure:
  1. Wash baby potatoes thoroughly and pressure cook them for 2 to 3 whistles.
  2. Once the pressure cooker cool completely, transfer them onto a colander vessel.
  3. Drain excess water and wash under running water.
  4. This will cool them completely and we can easily remove the skin.
  5. Remove the skin and Keep them aside.
  6. Heat oil in a kadai till the fumes comes out. Simmer the flame.
  7. Add some of baby potatoes, leave them like that for a minute.
  8. Then slowly fry them using stainless steel spatula. Fry them till the outer part of them become crispy.
  9. Remove them from kadai and keep them aside.
  10. Repeat the same with rest of potatoes.
  11. Do not add all of them at one go, this will make them stick to each other.
  12. Fry small portions.
  13. They should not stick to each other, so use only stainless steel spatula.
  14. Let the oil heat till the fumes comes out.
  15. Once all of them fried, add all of them to the kadai and add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala to it.
  16. Saute them well so that all the masalas combines well with potatoes well.
  17. Serve baby potato fry with hot piping rice.
