Boondi Ladoo -- quick and easy sweet recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Besan
- 4 Cups Sugar
- 1 Tsp Cardamom Sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp Cashew nuts
- 1/2 Tbsp Raisins
- Oil for Frying
Procedure:
- Add water to besan and make batter.
- Let there should be no lumps in the batter.
- The batter should be runny.
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Using boondi ladle pour the besan batter into the hot oil.
- Fry the boondi till it turns light yellow golden color.
- Keep the boondi aside.
- Repeat the same with the remaining batter.
- In a thick bottomed vessel mix water and sugar.
- Dissolve sugar in water and boil it. Stir occasionally, be careful, do not burn.
- Once the sugar syrup reaches one string consistency.
- Switch off the flame and add the prepared boondi into it.
- Combine it well.
- Add cardamom powder and fried cashews and raisins.
- Mix them well and allow this to cool for 15 mins.
- Once the boondi mixture cool to handle, mix it well again.
- Make ladoos of our desirable size.
- Press and roll the boondi to make ladoo.
- Serve boondi ladoo whenever you wish.
