For me baking is not as easy as cooking on stove top. I love baking but a bit scary about the end result. All ovens are not the same. We should keep ourselves hang around to learn it completely. Each and every oven varies in temperature and functionality. I have a LG MC-7880PSR Convection model oven. It has got 27 autocook methods. Here in the recipe, I am giving the temperatures and time I set in my oven. But you can change accordingly. And I never tried cakes on stove top, whenever I make cake I use oven only. If the oven is not in working condition I would stop baking cakes.

Eggless chocolate cake -- A simple chocolate cake for kids to enjoy
Ingredients:
Procedure:
- Preheat the the oven at 180 degrees celsius for 10 mins.
- Grease and dust a 8" baking tin. Keep aside.
- In a dry and clean bowl, sieve maida/all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Keep it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, add choco powder.
- Pour in hot water and mix it well. There shouldn't be any lumps.
- Add oil and sugar. Mix it well.
- Add curd into it and give a nice mix.
- Add the dry ingredients (Step No:3) into the above mix.
- Give a nice mix using a spatula.
- Do not over mix. There shouldn't be any dry flour left over.
- Once done Pour the eggless chocolate cake mix into the greased tin.
- Bake it for 30 to 35 mins at 180 degrees celsius. Or until the piercing stick comes out clean.
- Once the oven beeps, take it out and cool on wired rack.
- Allow the cake to completely cool down to scrape and demould from the tin.
- This would take at least 20 Mins time.
- Serve Eggless chocolate cake with hot milk or enjoy it anytime.
