Sometimes we (South Indians) get confused between thepla and paratha. After making them so many times I learned that the preparation for them is completely difference. To make thepla we chop or grate the vegetable and combine it with the whole wheat flour to make the dough. But to make parathas we need to have the dough and stuffing seperately. And we can make plain paratas also.
