Hi, Thank you friends and viewers. Today I will post how to make tutti frutti cookies recipe.
Tutti frutti cookies or karachi biscuits are simple and easy recipe. They can be made at home in just less than half an hour time. When I started trying my hand in baking simple recipes these are the first among them. Liked by one and all. Kids love to pack them for their snack box to share proudly with their classmates. These delicious, crispier outside and soft to melt in mouth cookies are my favourite too. Check out for my other baking recipes too here.

Tutti Frutti Cookies

Tutti Frutti Cookies Recipe -- cookies made with tutti frutti and dry fruits.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 Cup Tutti Frutti
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Cashew Nuts
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Almonds
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Pistachio
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Raisins
  • 2 Tablespoon Milk Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pineapple Essence
  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 Cup Custard Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Warm Milk
  • Procedure:
  • Chop all the dry fruits, cashew nuts, almonds, and pistachio.
  • In a wide mixing bowl, add all purpose flour, custard powder, baking powder and milk powder. Mix them well.
  • Add tutti frutti, chopped dry fruits to the above flour. Add cardamom powder also. Mix them well and keep aside.
  • In another bowl beat butter till soft and smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar to it and mix it well.
  • Add pineapple essence and mix it again.
  • Combine flour mixture to the butter and sugar mixture.
  • Mix it well to make it a soft dough.
  • Dust the surface and roll the dough using rolling pin.
  • Cut it into the desired size cookies.
  • Place them in a baking try and bake them at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
  • The temperature and time mentioned here is for my oven, it varies with each oven so check and bake them till become soft and crispy.
  • Serve hot or warm tutti frutti cookies with warm milk.

    It is a simple and easy recipe made with groundnuts and sugar. Chikkis or brittles are nothing but a sweet candy. Groundnut Chikki is an easy and delicious sweet made with caramelised sugar and roasted peanuts. The trick of making this easy recipe involved in sugar syrup making. If we get it in right consistency, then the chikki would turn into a wonderful and tasty one. We should be able break it into small pieces easily, should not be squashy.
    I have learned this chikki preparation from my maternal aunt, who is expert in it. Whenever we have family gatherings, she would bring this chikki and serve it. We all would love to have it. she used to cut them into a perfect squares without any measuring tape. We can make chikkis with sesame seeds, and cashewnuts also.
