Raw Mango Sesame Seeds Chutney
We make sesame seed chutney with tamarind. Instead of tamarind we use sour raw mango in summer season. This is also very tasty and easy to make chutney.  It is a good accompaniment for rice and roti. Actually these is no cooking part in this recipe, only grinding is involved in it.

  • Sesame Seeds - 1/2 cup
  • Raw Mango - 1
  • Green Chillies - 5 to 7
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Red Chillies - 1
  • Asafoetida - 1 tsp


  1. Peel the skin of mango and cut into pieces.
  2. Add raw mango pieces, sesame seeds, green chillies and salt in the blender jar.
  3. Grind it to a fine paste. Add water if necessary.
  4. Heat oil in a wok.
  5. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and red chillie.
  6. When they splutter add asafoetida. Add this tadka to the above chutney.
  7. Serve raw mango sesame chutney with rice or roti.
