Fried Rice

This recipe is very simple. Anyone with no experience can also make this recipe. It is a mix of rice with different vegetables. We can make this recipe with leftover rice also. The important ingredients in this recipe are vegetables and rice.


Green chillies-2
Black pepper powder-1/2tsp
Ajinimoto-a pinch
Ginger garlic paste-2tbsp
Cinnamon-3small sticks
Salt-to taste


Cut carrots into small pieces. Chop beans. Cut capsicum into small pieces. Slit green chillies. 
 Cook rice in a pressure cook or cook it separately. Add 2cups of water for one cup of rice. Spread this cooked rice in a wide plate and pour 1tbsp oil and 1tsp salt. This will make the rice dry and moisture free.
Heat oil in a wok. Add cloves and cinnamon. 
Once they start spluttering add ginger garlic paste and fry. 
Fry this ginger garlic paste till it turns into light brown. Then add carrots, beans,peas and capsicum and fry them. Fry them till they become soft. 

Add green chillies,ajinimoto and salt.
Add cooked rice to it and mix well. 
Mix it using a spatula. 
Fry the cooked rice well.


We have to be very careful while adding salt as we already added salt to the rice.
Before adding rice to the vegetables, if we taste the cooked vegetables, we can know how much of salt is required.
