Ingredients:
Semiya/Vermicelli - 1 cupMilk - 2 cups
Sugar - 1 and 1/2 cup
Cashew Nuts - 1 tbsp
Kismis/Raisins - 1 tbsp
Elaichi Powder /Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Procedure:
Heat ghee in a thick bottomed vessel. Fry cashew nuts and raisins till they turn light brown color. Keep them aside.Fry semiya till it turns into light brown color. Keep it aside.
Boil milk in the same vessel. Once the milk reaches the boiling point add the fried semiya and allow it to boil.
Once semiya cooked add sugar and allow this to boil for a while.
Add cardamom powder and remove it from the stove.
Add fried nuts to it.
Serve it in the way you want hot or cool.
