Kobbari-Tomato pachchadi/Coconut-Tomato Chutney

This is the season for chutney or rotipachahadi as in Telugu called. They go with hot steam rice on a rainy day.They take very less time  to prepare and really mouthwatering. Coconut and Tomato is good combination.

Ingredients:

Coconut - 1/2 portion of full coconut
Tomatoes-2
Oil - 4 tbsp
Red Chillies-12 no.s
Mustard Seeds-1 spoon
Fenugreek Seeds-1/2 spoon
Asafoetida- 1 tsp
Salt-to taste
Tamarind-small pebble sized 

Procedure:

Cut coconut into small pieces.
Cut tomatoes. 
Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and asafoetida. Once they start spluttering add red chillies and fry them. Set this a side to cool. Heat little oil and add tomatoes. Cook them till they become soft. 
Let them also cool. In a blender jar take tomatoes, coconut and little portion of mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and all red chillies. Add salt, tamarind also. 
Blend them by adding little water. Make a fine paste, not so fine but it should be fine only. When we touch the chutney with the hand we will find little coarse coconut.
Serve this with hot steam rice. We can have the good qualities of coconut and tomatoes at a time.
